Dr. Benjamin Leung

dr-ben-leung-cardiologist-medDr. Benjamin Leung is born in Vancouver and grew up in Abbotsford, BC. He completed his Bachelor of Science Degree (Microbiology) and Medical Degree at the University of British Columbia. He completed his three years of Internal Medicine training at the University of British Columbia (St Paul’s and Vancouver General Hospital). Following his internal medicine training, he completed three years of Clinical Cardiology training at McGill University where he served as chief resident in his last year of training.

Dr. Benjamin Leung is a member of the Fraser Health Department of Cardiac Sciences. Dr Leung’s practice includes an office based practice with hospital privileges at Eagle Ridge and Royal Columbian Hospital. His hospital work includes inpatient/ER consultations, cardiac testing (ECG, 24 holter monitor, stress tests, pacemaker testing, and echocardiography), and on-call duties. Cardiac testing is arranged through Dr. Leung’s office at both hospital sites. Dr. Benjamin Leung is a general cardiologist with strong interests in preventative cardiology, noninvasive testing (eg. Echocardiography), and patient education.

He is fluent in English and Cantonese.

Dr. Vineet Bhan

Dr. Vineet Bhan grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He received his BSc with Honours in Microbiology and Immunology from Dalhousie University. He went on to complete his Doctor of Medicine degree from Dalhousie University in 2007. Following medical school he matched to the University of Toronto, where he completed 3 years of Internal Medicine followed by 3 years of Cardiology fellowship training. He was the Chief Cardiology Resident at the University Health Network (Toronto General Hospital, Toronto Western Hospital, and Mount Sinai Hospital). While in his residency, he partook in research that evaluated obesity and gender related cardiovascular outcomes.

Dr. Vineet Bhan is a member of the Fraser Health Department of Cardiac Sciences. He has hospital privileges at Eagle Ridge Hospital and Royal Columbian Hospital. His outpatient office is located in Port Moody. He also works in the Heart Function clinic at RCH. His aim is to provide complete Cardiac care for the Tricities population and improve the health of the citizens in these communities.
